Top Apps to Free Gift Cards
There are dozens of ways to earn free gift cards using apps. We're going to show you four different ways apps pay out with gift cards.

I personally like InboxDollars because they pay you to shop too. The app makes it possible to make money for buying products you buy anyways.
For example, you can get paid for downloading apps that you are already planning to use. And, you can earn cash back for shopping at your favorite stores. It's easy to do, too.
Instead of shopping through the store's website, you access it through InboxDollars to activate the bonus offer.

16. Rakuten
Rakuten is possibly the largest online shopping app. Formerly known as Ebates, this app gives you the possibility of earning 1% to 40% cashback at over 2,000 stores. And many of the stores are stores that you will be shopping at anyways.

22. National Consumer Panel
National Consumer Panel is another app that makes it easy to earn free gift cards. Unlike most apps where you have to activate the rewards offersbefore you shop, you can scan the barcodes of the products you buyafter you get home with your smartphone.

24. CheckPoints
CheckPoints could also be classified under the first section of this article because you can earn points through a variety of tasks including surveys, searching the web, and watching videos.

27. Honey
Do you want to earn Amazon gift cards while shopping online? Honey is an app that employs a unique twist on earning cash rewards by earning 1% to 15% on your entire online purchase.
The only catch is that you don't know how much you will earn until after the sale has been completed.
Where other cashback portals use a flat-rate rewards system where you can get 1% to 40% back on the entire order, your rewards rate with Honey depends on which item
Where other cashback portals use a flat-rate rewards system where you can get 1% to 100% back on the entire order, your rewards rate with Honey depends on which items you purchase.
For example, you might get 4% cash back on your online order from Target, but, Honey might give you 1% cash back on a shirt and 55% cash back on the pair of shoes you ordered. But, you won't know until the purchase has been finalized.
Honey is the proverbial "two in bush" as opposed to the "one in the hand" with the traditional cash back apps.
In addition to earning cash back that can be exchanged for Amazon gift cards, Honey also helps you save money with two other methods.
- Automatically enter all known coupon codes at checkout to find the best discount in seconds
- Compare Amazon product prices with third-party listings to find the best deal
If you enjoy shopping on Amazon and thought joining Amazon Prime was the only way to save money, this just might become your favorite app.

Focused Apps
The fourth app category that lets you earn free gift cards is to use an app that only focuses on a specific task. For example, you might get paid to download another app, watch videos, or even surf the web.
You might consider these apps because they might offer content that the flexible, paid-to apps cannot access. Or, these apps have a higher payout per task because they only let you earn gift cards for a specific store.
28. Microsoft Rewards
You can get paid to use the Bing search engine on your computer or mobile device with Microsoft Rewards. They also offer additional bonus points with daily quizzes and promotional offers.

30. AppNana
If you like downloading and testing the latest apps and games, AppNana will give you rewards points for every app and game you download and use.
The selection is constantly changing so this can be an "evergreen" way of earning points that can be redeemed for gift cards for Amazon, iTunes, Google Play, and the Xbox stores.
You don't have to keep every app you test, but, I'm sure there are a few that you will keep and continue to use!
31. Lucktastic
Lucktastic is free rewards app that lets you win tokens, gift cards, merchandise, and cash with games of chance. All you have to do is download the app and you will get a set of daily scratch-off tickets that can contain a prize.

Another quick way to boost your points balance is to refer a friend. As soon as they play their first game on Lucktastic, you earn 1,000 bonus points! So far, Lucktastic has given away more the $3 million in prizes.
Download Lucktastic for IOS or for Android.

32. Slidejoy
Slidejoy lets you view advertisements (cards) on yourAndroid phone where the direction of your thumb slide determines if you like or dislike the ad.
A card will display when you access your phone's lock screen.
Sliding to the left means you "like" the card and will allow you to explore it further. Sliding it to the right dismisses the card.
To prevent misleading consumer opinions, Slidejoy pays the same amount whether you like or dislike the advertisement, so, be honest.
Rewards points can be redeemed for gift cards, PayPal cash, or donated to charity. One downside to Slidejoy is that it's only available to Android users at this time.
33. CoSign
CoSign is a unique app because you earn rewards points by selling your favorite clothing brands. The CoSign app lets you earn points through the three following options:
- Views
- Likes
- Purchases
As your following on CoSign grows, you will earn more rewards points as more people view photos of you wearing high-quality clothing.
Within each picture, you can tag specific clothing articles that all visitors to view the items on a real person in their daily life, not a mannequin or a picture of an item hanging from a display rack.
You can redeem your rewards points for gift cards and cash. And, you can upload photos through the Android or Apple app.
You do not have to physically maintain an inventory of clothes to ship when an order as this is a form of affiliate marketing where you are the "middle man" and simply earn a commission each time a person buys an item of clothing you recommend.
This is a perfect opportunity if you are a fashion blogger, as CoSign can be another way to expand your audience.
34. AppTrailers
AppTrailers is an app that will pay you with points for watching trailers for apps. Every time you watch a trailer, you earn points.
If you download a new app after watching a trailer–and use it–you can earn even more points. Then you can use your points to get free gift cards for places like iTunes, Sephora, and Amazon.
The AppTrailers app is available in Apple and Android.
Summary
Earning cash is nice. However, sometimes earning a gift card can be more advantageous since you can earn a higher reward rate.
Also, if you are going to immediately turn around and spend the cash at your favorite store or restaurant, choosing the gift card is just as valuable and can be just as convenient.
It doesn't matter what you do on your smartphone. My guess is that there's most likely an app that will help you earn free gift cards every day of the week.
